Website down everyday

I am confronting huge issues with the hosting of my carpet cleaning website. My website is down for 5 hours consistently because of some obscure issue. I have changed the hosting providers yet the issue still holds on. I am accepting that the script of my site is bringing on this. Can anyone please help me?

I would check the error logs that should be available in your control panel - for some reason mine are not!

Contact my hosts and ask them to check - it is good if you can tell them when the site is down.

Try and find a pattern when it is down and is the whole site or just a few pages.

Hi Rubble, Thanks for your reply. Yes, the whole site is down whenever it would be down.

What was the last thing you did before the site went down?

When you find it down, you might want to try http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com

HI,
When I try to access the site I see this:

Can you open the site and tell me what is causing this.
I’m desperate! I don’t have technical knowledge or skills to fix this.

Please help me guys!

Have you tried accessing the site from a different location, or on a different computer/mobile device?

Hi chrisofarabia,
I don’t have other location where to test. Just my PC.

If all websites don’t work such as google.com or facebook.com. Then either it’s your internet or something on your computer that is causing the issue. Also, just a friendly reminder since I’ve tested this multiple times in the past and as recent as December of 2016. I also know this may not pertain to your issue, but if you happen to come across it, just remember that if you installed the anti-virus Comodo and uninstall it because you don’t want it anymore, it will actually make your current operating system have no internet connection. This can only be solved by trashing the operating system and doing a clean install of the operating system of your choosing. I have no idea why it does this, but if that was your situation, you may want to go to a public library or use another computer. Then download Windows from the official Microsoft website. A quick Google search with the keywords Download Windows 10. Then look at the links from the result and only look for *.microsoft.com links. If you get something like *.microsoftsupport.com or something that isn’t the offical website, don’t go to it. Once you are on the official Microsoft website. There should be a link or button to download the startup .iso files. It’s usually compacted inside a Media Creator Tool or something that follows that name.

People still for some bizarre reason think that downloading the Windows operating system isn’t free. It’s actually free and is provided to you through the media creator tool for free. What isn’t free is the license key to have Windows fully activated. You could still run a Windows operating system for free without having to purchase or spend money on any license key. You’ll just have less options such as setting profile pictures to your accounts, using and setting preferences via the Settings option, and other varies options that require a license key.

Try this:

For what it’s worth, site came up for me fine at 31 May 22:37 EDT. So the site is there, domain and DNS are there. So you are down to the server, the server connection, and your connection to the server. Good luck.

Between what times (GMT) is the site down for? Is it between the same times each day?

So what were the results of following the advice previously given?

What did the logs say when you checked them?

What did your host say about it when you contacted them?

Did you spot any pattern or not?

Had you changed anything before the site started going down?

What did this tool say while the site is down?

Site loaded just fine today. Were you able to fix it?

Now that I think about it, it would be wise to check the hosts file on your local machine. If every website works except your own, you may want to check the hosts file in case that domain points to 127.0.0.1. This would probably cause an issue as you are pointing that domain to your local machine. So only you can see what happens to it locally. Other people and the owners of that domain don’t get affected at all.
