Unable to start npm

Yesterday I worked through an Angular tutorial and for all intensive purpose the application/tutorial I was working on worked. Today i tried starting the npm (npm start) i received the following error message you see below.

Any ideas as to what when wrong?

try running ‘npm run tsc’ to see if TypeScript is encountering any errors in your code. This is what I did and, once I resolved the issues, it was able to start again.
