Trying to lower the X-SpamScore for PHP mail()

Mail sent from my VPS server using PHP mail() results in a spam score of 4, which gets it sent to the spam folder on some systems. The emails are not spam but are used for resetting passwords, etc. I have been trying for days to lower the score, with no progress. I have read articles andl forum posts about dealing with X-spam and followed advice given where appropriate. I’m hoping that by looking at the following mail header info, someone can give me a clue that might help. Thanks.

No idea about the headers, personally, but have you tried setting up DKIM authentication and/or SPF record for your domain?

Yes, those are both set up.
