Tips Please

Can anybody give me some tips on blog posting. How to improve speed or anything related to blog posting.

Don’t you hate it when someone ask for some help or anything then don’t come back to his own thread?

Your blog should have the tone and theme of what you want to convey to your reader. Make it unique so you stand out from everyone else. Make your content strong, interesting and provide a value to your visitor. Don’t worry about how often you post, just make sure when you do, it provides information and value. Too often you see thrown together blog posts. I don’t stick around and read them. If you want shorter blog posts, that’s up to you, but that’s only after you’ve built a strong foundation from your other posts. Either way, keep writing and you’re on the right track.

Hey,

I’ve never blogged before but I do intend to and I’ve found that 31 Days to Build a Better Blog has been an invaluable resource for me in learning about the world of blogging - Before I enter it. If you haven’t already started blogging and you can wait for a month before you start (as you will receive 1 E-Mail each day for 31 days) then sign up for it and enjoy.

All the best with your blog,

  1. Make your opinion known
People like blogs, they like blogs because they are written by people and not corporations. People want to know what people think, crazy as it sounds they want to know what you think. Tell them exactly what you think using the least amount of words possible.
  1. Link like crazy.
Support your post with links to other web pages that are contextual to your post.

  2. Write Less
Give the maximum amount of information with the least amount of words. Time is finite and people are infinitely busy. Blast your knowledge into the reader at the speed of sound.

  3. 250 is enough
A long post is easier to forget and harder to get into. A short post is the opposite.

  4. Make Headlines snappy
Contain your whole argument in your headline. Check out National newspapers to see how they do it.

  5. Include bullet point lists
We all love lists, it structures the info in an easily digestible format.

  6. Make your posts easy to scan
Every few paragraphs insert a sub heading. Make sentences and headlines short and to the point.

  7. Be consistent with your style
People like to know what to expect, once you have settled on a style for your audience stick to it.

  8. Litter the post with Keywords.
Think about what keywords people would use to search for your post and include them in the body text and headers. make sure the keyword placement is natural and does not seem out of place.

  9. Edit your post
Good writing is in the editing. Before you hit the submit button, re-read your post and cut out the stuff that you don’t need.

I found this list here.:)

I personally think it really depends on what your blog is about. My blog is about my writing services, so I write a lot. Nonetheless, I try to make my posts informative and entertaining. Do not limit yourself. If it is good, people will read it regardless of its length. And, although many might disagree, it has worked well for me.

Well, you have to have good background knowledge to do it. You can try to do some research first and save the knowledge that might be helpful in your future posting. You’d better classify your material and then bear them in mind.

Do you mean how to write articles and post them frequently?
If that is what you want you can select niche of your choice and write regularly after searching the net or from different other sources such as books. Hope this helps.

Be sharp and precise - post fact and relevant info, not your philosophical ideas (unless the blog is philosophical  ) Don’t write a lot, huge posts are not that good. (however if you feel like you’ve god a lot to say - divide it into parts - would give you two or three posts instead of one)

What do you mean with ‘speed’?

^^^ Maybe the speed of his blog site itself.

BTW, excellent tips guys.

Hello,

Firstly content should be fresh or unique & second when you post a blog, you should share your blog on some SOcial sites like Facebook, Twitter & Reddit

Content can be tweaked Autoblog or unique you need to setup in the right way…

What everyone here has said and recommended has some validity. However, I always tell people that you develop a strategy that is going to work best for you. What has worked for others, may not work for you. AND it also depends very much on the theme or topic of your blog. Not all niches require frequent posting and not all niches require HOW TOs…

I think you need to do a bit of trial and error and figure out what works best for your blog and for your particular niche.
