You misread what I said. They were using affiliate links.
My Experience with bluehost is, i always get good support from them. I host 5 sites with them, and i never experience downtime, also it is good for beginners. Later, we can shift we get good traffic.
I used to host my site at Bluehost about 2 years ago. Was very satisfied with their service back then. Loved their tech support. Now I can’t say much about them as I have came across quite a fair bit negative reviews about them.
I have been using Bluehost for a few years now, maybe 4 or 5.
I have found them to be very good for the price. Not as good as one that I was using some years ago for a proper business, but that cost a lot more 
I haven’t had real problems with Bluehost, but did move up to a dedicated IP, instead of shared, due to overload problems that were happening at times.
I am now on the $8.95 pm plan, instead of the basic $6.95 plan, but having just checked it right now, I see I can renew for a 3 year period, instead of 12 months, for $6.95 pm.
Where 98%-99% is adequate I think that Bluehost is pretty good.
I really think bluehost is one of the best host for regular blogs/sites out there. For those who needs something special or dedicated servers maybe there are better options.
