Facebook has introduced a new like button
how is it different than the previous ‘share it on facebook’ that many of us have already implemented on your websites?
are you going to add the new button to your web properties?

Hmmm…still trying to figure out what to make of this, but what I don’t like is the potential for spammers to use this for their benefit.
There’s privacy risks, spam risks, even user annoyance risks but with Facebook becoming the largest website, and by far the most engaging network the upsides are huge too, and this is a chance to leverage those upsides (while helping FB of course). I’m already working on plans to roll it out to more pages in place of the existing, static and rarely used, email to a friend & share features.
I suspect we will see how users adopt this – or not – very quickly
