I look after a site that has a retreat submission form that asks for some personal information. I want to secure the form with SSL. I’ve just been looking at Comodo Positive certificates https://comodosslstore.com/au/positivessl.aspx. Is this all I need? I gather I can use external certificates in Bluehost via cPanel. Its a Concrete5 site so I can’t use the free WordPress certificate from Bluehost.
Many hosts supply SSL certificates or you can purchase your own and arrange for them to install it for you. Where you purchase from is up to you, there are 100’s of suppliers, all with different prices so shop around to get the best deal.
Thanks. I should have explained - is this the correct level of security I need? I get a bit lost in the variety of options on offer. I don’t want to overpay for something that is more than I need, given its personal details and not monetary transactions I’m protecting.
