Site Really Slow in IE

Could anyone help me out please with a site I am working on?

In Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc it loads pretty quick, but in IE it takes around 7 seconds or so to load, which is way too long.

Would any of you know what may be causing this to happen?

camlingroup . com

Many thanks

Is Google Adsense being used?

Hi John

We did use google ad words a while ago but not in recent times. I could disable that and see if it helps.

I dont see where to remove that?

Different browsers work in different ways and from memory some will start to display a page before everything has downloaded whereas others will wait until everything is ready

I tried you site in a why slow tester and it suggested optimising your images and you are not using gzip compression.

I also notice you have 22 JavaScripts running on that page.

Edit: I thought you could combine your JavaScripts and found this interesting site:

When I try to visit your site in Firefox I get

Perhaps this is part of your problem.

Uh, a 3.45 MB download for a single page is probably your biggest problem. You have severe page bloat. Time to go back to the drawing board. You only have 4 KB of actual content on the page.
