I’m looking for a simple subscription management system, preferably php, open source (if any) or commercial.
As a payment gateway we’re looking into starting with PayPal but it would be nice if the system also supports some other ones.
I would like to hear opinions from people who have used this systems in real world. I’m really concerned with picking one system over another, and realizing that it was not the right choice several month downs the road.

Come on guys, someone in this forum should have used an subscription system once in their life; at least if you cannot recommend one, say which one not to use
My new start-up InvoiceMore lets you track and manage recurring services for clients. It’s a hosted billing system, so I’m not 100% sure that it’s really what you’re looking for, but there is a free account level so you can see if it will fit your needs.
I plan to roll-out the ability to accept online PayPal payments for invoices next week. It’s part of a larger “client view” system that I’ve been working on for a little while now.
I have a client using asp.net that we integreated ViaSubscription for. I believe that Via also has the code to integrate into a php system as well. It is at least worth checking into.
