I was wondering if anyone knows where to start with adding a realtime sales display on a website? Any applications or anything?
It depends… have you got a back end system where you can pull sales data from?
I’ve done a similar project for a real time display of sales at various stages, eg New, Pending, Despatched plus a few other bits of info like total sales for the day/week/month. That was very easy because we were using ExpressionEngine ecommerce which made is simple to pull out the data and display it on a series of web pages, and where it refreshed the data on each cycle.
