My website primary search terms ( having good search volume) are on google rank 1, but when we are checking their CTR, its very low. Can anybody suggest how to increase CTR on google organic search.

My website impressions are in thousand numbers but clicks are just in hundreds, currently, it was like 1.5 %
My ctr is good using my brand search terms like Azilaa jewellery but very low uisng my primary KW like designer jewellery.
I have changed my home page and product page meta tags last week

That’s pretty much what you’d expect, I’d have thought. Somebody searching for your brand name is looking specifically for you, so you’d expect a high click-through rate. Somebody searching for a more general term, like “designer jewellery” might be for several reasons. They may be looking for a particular site they visited before but they can’t remember the name (been there, done that ) or they might have a specific idea or requirement in mind. In the former case, there’s little you can do: your site is not what they’re looking for. In the latter, you need to make your meta descriptions as informative and appealing as possible, to encourage people to visit. This is the first chance you have to show the visitor what is different or unique about your site, and make them want to visit you.

Let me know what is your current ctr and you can use various technique to improve your ctr, as you can use rich snippet to enhance your search query and ctr. We have faced this kind of issue years ago on my website, after we have started using the the rich snippet and our result improved a lot.

First of all it’s better to be sure that you have super good content on your site and even better to note UI of your landing page. There are plenty of UX designers who consult you to make your pages to look amazing. But for sure it’s not enough. May be back links can help you.
How would these things help CTR?

Because people evaluate the landing page first of all. If there won’t be needed buttons or they will be placed in the wrong pages sides, the customer will never get back to this website. For sure it’s not the main issue should be resolved for good CTR. The first place I will give to SEOof course.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. I have done all the changes that needs to be done and suggested like changed titles, descriptions.
the CTR is different using 2 targeted kw and present on same position on Google.
What else i can do to improve the click through. Search term is “designer jewellery” or “handmade jewellery”
