Today I have had a little problem in my database. As I have daily backups, I have been able to download yesterday’s database status, but I don’t know what should I do next. I have the .mysql file downloaded, and I can open it with bloc note for example, but no idea how can I recover a single table using this file.
Well, that would depend a bit on what system you’re on, what type of mysql file you’ve got, whether you need to recover the table structure or just the data, whether the data contains line breaks, if you have command line access to the database…
