Question for Any Plugin Authors: readme.txt file

I uploaded for first plugin yesterday and realized my readme.txt file wasn’t formatted correctly, making my plugin’s description page quite uninformative for any potential downloaders.

I’ve updated everything, and ensured the readme format is correct by using the readme validator. Still no luck. The page is still showing the old info. Any thoughts???

Here is the link to the repository if it is helpul.

<mild-rant>I can’t say I’m a big fan of markdown - makes a mess with underscores - plain text or parsed, pick one</mild_rant>

How long since you uploaded the new file(s) to the repository? Maybe you need to wait a bit?

Thanks for the reply. I found the problem yesterday. I used the optional “stable version” tag in the Trunk’s readme file. The readme inside the stable version in the Tags directory wasn’t updated.

Between learning the WP conventions and just learning SVN, it took me a while to pinpoint the problem and fix it. Good to go now. Thanks again.
