Pulsing in the shape of an icon

Hi there,

I have the following fiddle which pulsates a dot:

What I would like to do is have a bolt icon pulse as well as having the outer pulse/glow in the shape of the bolt, but not sure how to do this. Would I need to draw the pulse shape in CSS? Any suggestions would be great!

That bolt is an icon so couldn’t you overlay another on top and then scale its size, opacity and color to get the pulse effect?

(well probably it’d go underneath if you want it to pulse around the existing icon.)
