I want to give the reader to choose either one or the other:
[עַלְיָה כ] (עַֽלְוָ֖ה ק)

It’s hard to paste in here but the first has the letter Quph [ק] and the 2nd has the letter Caph (כ).

how can i prag_match to get the word within the brackets and the Quph or Caph?

Use “|” to separate between two choices.

For example “/aaa|bbb/” matches ‘aaa’ or ‘bbb’.
