This my first post.
Please take a look my implementation of a simple video tag here:

The video poster frame shows up in all browsers except Mac Firefox (it’s fine in Firefox for PC).
The video plays properly in all browsers; it’s only the poster frame that doesn’t appear in Mac Firefox.
I’ve researched the topic online, but can’t find the solution.

Problem solved!
It was the DivX Plus Web Player HTML5 add-on. Disabled it and the poster image is now visible.
