Pleas Help About WinXP Error Code 6be

Hi
When I try to setup WinXP on HP desktop PC. Then it show a error message:
“The Digital Signature for the Catalog is invalid. i386/nt5.cat could not be installed. Error Code 6be.”
Now how can i resolve this error.

It could be a RAM problem, maybe you need a upgraded/faster RAM.

Some questions.

  1. Is the disc that you are installing from scratched or dirty?
  2. Is this a clean installation? (are you upgrading?)
  3. At what point in the installation process are you encountering the error?
