Phpthumb hover function?

I have a page that I use Phpthumb to create Images to link to other pages http://levrierafghan-marquis.com/noschiens.php. I was thinking of making the image in greyscale and when you put the mouse over it, have them switch to normal colors.

Anyone know if there is a Hover param. in Phpthumb or a way I could do it ?

I would have thought there would be something in Javascript you could use or possibly with a bit of lateral thinking modify a css “sliding door” method - one image containing a colour and grayscale image.
