I can’t download my Godaddy database cause it times-out!

Please what is the best php script to make SQL backups?

It is old, but still pretty good and useful.

Just upload it to a folder on your website via FTP and call the index file. It guides you though the installation, if I recall correctly. You might have to set some file directory permissions, but it will tell you about that too. Also, make sure you don’t leave the files sitting there. Delete them, when you are done dumping your database.

Edit: or even better, if you can, HTACCESS the directory, before you get going.
