Trying to build a site similar in concept to medicalexpo.com, product lists in categories, when a product is clicked it shows lists of all manafacturers, when a manufacturer is clicked it lists all the products listed under them(from all product categories). Is Wordpress OK for such, what theme would you recommend. Thanks.
Do you want to do ecommerce - selling of products and such? Or is this just an informational site?
Not ecommerce, no prices, just catalogs.
I would definitely say you could use Wordpress - or any other major CMS, or a custom built platform - for something like that. Try searching for “wordpress catalog themes” perhaps? (or actual ecommerce themes, and then you could remove the pricing areas).
