Navigation Bar Stickiness

I’m writing to see if anybody can help me with a problem I’m having that not many of the big books on CSS seem to answer.

For instance, on the Sitepoint site here, when you’re in the “Forums” section, the forums link on the nav bar is bold.

When you’re at Home, that link is bold, and when you’re at articles, that one is bold, and so on.

Is this something you can achieve through CSS styling, or is Javascript necessary?

You basically use a current page indicator (what you are describing). You just set a class on the specific <li> (or <a>) of class="current’ or whatever, and then give it specific styles.

I’ve asked for a move (via pm to mizwizzy). If another moderator sees this please move to the CSS section)
