NAS Automount Started, now what?

I have an NAS storage device added to my account. I followed this guide to mount it:

I restarted the autofs and everything seems to be working fine. But how do I now control backups to my NAS drive? I want to backup all accounts/files.

Does WHM now notice the drive and let me control it from there?

Confused, to put it lightly.
