My Website Security issue

My Website Security issue, there are a lot of failed login attempts. and can you tell me best plugins for performance & Security

itheme security

Is this a Wordpress site @creedmarshal19? Why do you feel you feel you need another plugin? I assume these failed login attempts are people trying to break your site, and the fact that they have failed is a good thing. I’m not aware of any plugin that will stop hackers trying to log in.

Assuming you are running on Apache, ensuring your server is using modSecurity would be a good move.

Can you expand on your response @subhasishmishra3? Why do you consider this a good solution?

I am using it for last 3 years and it is helping me protecting website in better way.

Maybe not related to this, but I often see plugins with vulnerabilities when I run https://web.dev/measure

Thank you for your concentration, it’s actually helpful

If it’s a wordpress site, use wordfence plugin and ssl certificate plugin and it’s common, don’t worry about it. Just use these plugins, your site will be safe.

The initial website investment alone is enough reason to secure your website from the start. Hacks, malware, backdoor attacks, and SEO spam are only a few of the lingering threats waiting to take advantage of your server, visitor data, and website infrastructure. Using these security plugins on a website is like getting insurance and installing an alarm system.

By default, WordPress core has some security measures in place. But it can constantly be improved with a reputable security plugin. Top WordPress security plugins deliver:

  • Active security monitoring
  • File scanning
  • Malware scanning
  • Blocklist monitoring
  • Security hardening
  • Post-hack actions
  • Firewalls
  • Brute force attack protection
  • Notifications for when a security threat is detected
  • Some WordPress security plugins throw in even more futures, but the ones listed above are the standout ones.

I can suggest you the best plugins to guard your website from online threats.
