Is there a way I can mark my questions as SOLVED to prevent further discussion on it?
So you only want the first solution someone thinks of and not the best solution?
Often there can be quite a long discussion with people improving on each other’s solutions to end up with something significantly better than what was first proposed - and you want a way to prevent that?
Even if you just want to use the first thing someone suggests that works the next person searching for the same problem might want to get the best solution so no problem is ever SOLVED here - you just get to see all the solutions proposed so far.
