Making background color of a transparent image is shown

I have a jpg image and the image has a rose and the background of the rose is transparent which is made with photoshop.

if the background color is yellow like at http://dot.kr/x-test/yellowBackground.php , I like make it that the background of the image is yellow.
if the background color is pink like at http://dot.kr/x-test/pinkBackground.php, I like make it that the background of the image is pink.

How can I make the background color which is yellow or pink of a transparent image is shown?

As far as I know, jpg does not support transparency; you need the image to be in png or gif format.
