Bidding on projects is pointless. “Hey I will work for this cheap!!”
Here is a resource list of places where freelancers can find work.
There are so many freelance project boards, as well as resource lists of these…
you can try to google search it. that’s what i’m doin.
You guys should try leadurls.com its gathers up all the freelance/job leads from different sites and updates every minute
guru & elance are overrun with overseas shops that charge ridiculously cheap rates. It’s very hard to win contracts when competing with them.
i want you to show me more desgins ok
These aren’t the best places for leads IMHO
As a freelance coder, i could use some reliable regular design contacts for when a get
a job with both coding and designing required. Contact me, if this sounds like you. Also
interested in some one designing template pages for our blog feeds.
As an independent designer Its not hard to get work if you are good at your work and services.
I have not done any active marketing from last 6 months but still i get regular projects.
Nice article Justin,
I have used these and many other sites over the years and what I like most is there is a direct line to many, many projects that have been outsourced for freelancers.
Sometimes you need to use more than one but there’s always work there and the good sites use escrow. Outside those you mentioned there is also odesk.com, getafreelancer.com, scriptlance.com and getacoder.com, just off the top of my head, there are more though.
DO NOT go to GURU.com, it is a waste of time. You cant do anything unless your a paying member, You take 30 minutes to update your resume and account just to find out you cant bid on any jobs. Hard to believe the author would have this at the top of the list.
please tell mi how to work freelancing
Try also odesk.com there are lots of freelance web development providers there.
> I refuse to sign up with any work bid sites
> that expect you to pay for the opportunity
> to bid at jobs before you even get paid.
If you’re good at what you do then there’s tons of local opportunities out there that pay better (if you’re in the US, Canada, etc).
Why bother trying to compete with extremely cheap outsourcing companies that work for $100 sites?
Hi everyone
I’ve just finished the final touches on our latest Google ad campaign and we have been inundated with design work!
So if you are looking for work mainly on simple CMS templates and small 5-10 page Joomla/Drupal sites pop over and register here:
design-teams dot com
Totally free, no hidden catches, just plenty of work.
Best regards
