Looking for an idiot proof reliable domain register

Hi from now Sunny but probably chucking it down in 5 mins York UK,

Looking to register a URL then forward it onto another url. Can anyone recommend a provider were we could buy a url and easily set up forwarding and easily find-able receipts / invoices
