How do i fix LG smart TV with color blotches rendering distorted pictures on screen.

We are a web design community. It is unlikely that you will find a television technician around unless he is a web coder. My advice would be to contact the dealer from whom you bought the TV or contact LG directly. They will be able to advise you about service for the device.

@ronpat well, surely I guess anyone who has come across problems with their TVs could be of help. That was why I thought so…
There’s no harm in asking here, @vfbennyme, but @ronpat is right; I doubt you’d be very likely to find somebody here who has not only suffered the same issue, but was able to sort it themelves.
But I’ve been wrong before, so we can hope.

A lot of these new TV’s have a reset function somewhere in the menu system. Might be worth trying to factory reset and see if that does anything. Or a firmware update. If it’s hardware problem then it probably isn’t worth fixing due to cost.
Gone are the days of easy fixes. I’ve got a 70’s pioneer amplifier and it came with a full wiring schematic! you don’t get that now a days, thats for sure. I’m still struggling to find someone to look at it for me, One person wanted £60 just to look and say whether they would consider fixing it or not?!
