You rang, my lord?
:hurt:
(I don’t want any accusations of favouritism here. )
The “my lord” part said it all
OK, let me try again:
Allow me, Your Eminence.
Better, @molona?
My late mother-in-law - rather dotty at the best of times - was among a party who were introduced to a visiting cardinal. They had been reminded to address him as “Your Eminence”, but when it came to the bit, she cheerfully called him “Your Prominence”.
Now I’m hurt…
I do apologise, Your Grace.
(See, that @molona’s just stirring trouble, as usual.)
Of course, I was the one that started all this, calling this one “My Lord”, the other “Your Eminence” and the other as “Your Grace”
I’m not going to ask how you would address me because I suspect that I won’t like it. That’s what envy does
“Your Supreme Majesty”, of course. (Only I know how modest you are, and how much you would hate me to use that in public, so I don’t. )
That’s humble enough. Although not my real title but I don’t like to brag and it is good that you’re aware of my modesty
