Jquery Ui Tabs Open to Bottom of Page

Hello,
I have a site linked to juery ui and am using the tabs widget. When I
link to an unopened tab from the index page, it always opens to the
bottom of the target page. The anchor is at the top of the HTML div
though. Not sure if it’s relevant but I am using the smartmenus plugin
as well.
