I’ve two sites and they are popular on SERP for similar services. Apparently, I’m an opponent for myself. So, how reasonable is it?
Dividing your efforts like that doesn’t seem very sensible. If the sites have different content, then they’re competing against each other, as you say. Why not simply combine them and (probably) improve the overall quality? If the sites have more or less the same content, then Google is likely to regard one as a duplicate and not show it in search results at all.
Depending on your answer, I thinks that you’re a beginner is SEO… As there are a lot of factors which defines how affiliates will rank in search engine, so you, as a beginner can not take into account all this factors, so incorrect implemetationa of your strategy can cause bad effects. So I agree with the previous reply that you should start from the single site and continue with the second.
Moreover I think your second site will be much better because of the experience you will get from your first attempt)

Thanks TechnoBear and Tete! Basically I’m happy with their performance, Because
- One of them is 1st other one is 2nd from position on SERP.(with strong keywords during few years)
- Also I’ve to say that they are not taking any duplicate content or not violate any webmaster guidelines.
But seemingly, They are going to fight among themselves just like they are competitor each other.
Then what do you think? Should I merge them both and make one or leave them?
