Is sitepoint.com slow?

Hi.

In the last two-three months I have noticed that the main website ‘sitepoint.com’ is getting slower. I don’t know the reason, what do you think? Is it because they use many of Ajax for example or is it because they use PHP and as an interpreted language when the site grows it starts to slow down!

Is there any particular times of the day/week when your finding it slow or all the time?

most of the time, although the forums seems to be OK.
