Is it possible to defeat Google on their search engine?

I would start a new webmaster forum for my blog site and ranking it to top search but when i check this keyword “webmaster forum”, Google is getting 2 first positions (as the picture)

I don’t know if i build a new webmaster forum it is possible to defeat Google on their search engine to get top 1 on Google search?

I have seen many cases like this and waiting for a valuable answer.

Thanks
Harry

Hi Harry, no it’s not possible. Attempting to outrank Google on their own search engine will be wasted effort.

Google looks to do very well in Bing search results for “webmaster forum” also.

I think if there is to be any chance of a new forum getting better position in the search results it will need to have a less competitive niche so it will come up when the niche specific keyword is included in the search terms.

Getting a forum to rank at all will be hard work; we’ve had questions here in the past from people with that same problem. To attract visitors/members to a forum, you need to have good quality, active discussions. To get those discussion, you need visitors/members. It’s not easy to get started.

Also, “webmasters” is a very broad category, and you would be up against a lot of well-established sites (not just Google). You would need to offer something new and different to attract people to your site, rather than to an existing site with an established reputation. You would also be competing against all these sites in search engine results. For a general term like “webmaster forum”, it is highly unlikely that a new site with little content would rank anywhere near the top. So rather than worrying about whether or not you could supplant Google at the top of the resuilts, I think your time would be better spent considering whether you would be able to compete with all the other sites in that niche, and possibly rethinking your plans.

Hey the truth is it’s possible. Google don’t favor it’s websites at SERP ranking. I seen many times that other websites performing more better at serp rather then google, when we search for one of the google product also. However it’s difficult because google website are good enough but it’s not impossible

Hi there! Honestly, I’ve never heard of such scheme where you can ‘outplay’ Google with their own game. Doing this will just be a waste of time and effort actually. So I suggest you focus only on the things that really matters to help improve your rankings.
