Ink. Or any vectorial software, really
well, went online as well and found some names like fontforge & lightscribe. fontforge seems like a pain to install. lightscribe a bit limited.
I think you can created in a vector program but night a font program to finish them up?
Was hoping i could get a good tip on a really good open source one. So far not really found a good one

If you’re just using the font to create icons then http://fontcustom.com/ is what you are looking for.
Put all your .svg files in a directory, compile and bam - font files and stylesheet for embedding.

Thank you Mark will check it out. At a quick glance it looks like it is for os x & linux &you have to install ruby as well.
