I feel like I will never know enough

I have been a freelance WordPress developer for nearly six years.

I have taught myself A LOT. I never really expected it to turn into a full-time business. I started customizing WordPress themes and it took off.

Some days, I just feel so overwhelmed by all there is to keep up with and learn. While I feel like I certainly have lots of knowledge, at the same time, I feel like I know nothing! Very frustrating. Some days, I fall into the nasty trap of comparing myself to others, especially some of the guru or “expert” WP people.

When I look at WP developer jobs online, they all seem to want so much. Guess that’s true of a lot of tech/dev jobs. I certainly wouldn’t feel like I knew enough to even toss my hat in the ring.

I’m planning on doing some online learning this year (more structured things like Treehouse, rather than just learning from blog tutorials, etc.)

I think that also there are some things about what I do that I’m not as enthusiastic about as others, so I keep thinking I need to maybe find more of a niche…something. Don’t know.

But I just wonder…do you feel this way too? Have you found a solution? Any suggestions? Do I just have a personality flaw? lol
