Health, fashion, lifestyle, travel… seems like social media should be a big part of your distribution strategy!
In that niche, I’ve also seen a lot of success with featuring other bloggers (with their permission/agreement) then asking them to share your post. That way you can tap into their audience while you’re growing your own.
I’d also start collecting email addresses of visitors right away — even if you don’t have a huge mailing list, it’s nice to have it once you’re ready to start a regular newsletter or even just promotional emails.
Another thing people are finding useful these days is to syndicate content like articles and blog posts to Medium.com, where they get extra exposure. You can link back to the original version when doing that.
Social media is a great idea but I am sure it consumes a lot of time to get engaged with the fan. We already have an active twitter and instagram account and its doing well. I think its just good enough for one month. Facebook consumes way more time and its very expensive to get fan. I was trying to run a page like campaign in US, UK and AU. The average fee for a like was $1 USD which is totally out of budget.
What are they most effective ways to increase facebook fan page?
and thanks for the valuable information.
This is a fantastic idea. I am going to work with these guys soon. However, do you think that I have to wait until google indexes my content first and then submit my articles there? Since their website is very popular, I am sure the crawling frequently is way more productive than my website so I am afraid if my content get indexed in Google or other search engines under their domain.
Getting social is best way through which you can get more traffic. If you are ready to get paid traffic and then go with google adwords which will be more effective.
Thanks for reply. I get good traffic from SEO. For my case Google adwords is not an ideal option since I am not selling any product. My website’s source of income is Banner advertising and Affiliates.Although, Google adwords is the best option for websites that are promoting a product.
What i mean its that, If a usr search the relevant phrase, it should bring my link first and then their’s. Because the content was originally published in my website. So is that necessary to wait until the article get indexed?
You have magazine on interesting niche. Just check who are the key players Health, fashion, lifestyle and travel (internationally) and learn to follow the content.
Do keyword research on the popular keywords that are search volume but less difficulty. And build quality content on that. Also, whatever you are posting, do social shares on that.
Hey @seyzed as you told that you are generating creating content in that case for sure will get success. If a person can generate creative, unique and useful content their is nothing batter then this.
Still we need to do something so that people will know about us. I suggest you following things
Post creative things at social media. Look you don’t need to post a lot of things, what you need to do is useful things.
Their are a lot of websites in your field which allows guest posting, post some content their, by doing this people will know about your website.
I suggest you to be creative all the time, one single post at facebook can generate milions of hit, but only if it’s useful.
Thank you for your response Seyzed. Google adwords is not only for selling products, it can also help to get more visitors to your page through which you can get more orders.
Well, GoogleAdwords is and ideal option for the websites that sell a product on their website. In my case, I generate my income via adsense and that does not apply on my case since spending on adwords and then aiming for people to click on on my ads doesn’t make any balance.
Can you explain what you mean by that, please? (Remember, many people visiting these forums are new to SEO and marketing, and things which might make sense to you do not necessarily make sense to others. Please take time to explain any suggestions you make, rather than simply posting a list like this.)
Hi seyzed! I think my best bet to your concern are:
Create quality contents which are valuable to your audience.
Post these contents using different social media channels.
Send an email newsletter promoting these contents to your subscribers.
Partner with the right affiliate company and use any services that would allow you to attract people into your site as well getting them engaged while visiting. A good example of this is an offer wall. Basically, its a tool which contains a list of affiliate offers which your audience can avail in exchange for rewards. With this tool, you’ll be able to get rid of boring ad banners that will make your visitors decide to get out… Another tool is the 1 line of code GPT site which allows you to show the affiliate company’s offerwall just by inserting that code in any contents in your website…
