How to enable NGINX and bypass within Cloudflare as page speed is double lower.

We try to keep excellent features using CloudFlare but if we proxy IP, and CNAME example.com, it will curl CLOUDFLARE not NGINX.

If we set it up without proxy for both IP and CNAME and Wordpress URL like example.com it will work NGINX.

This gives us two times lower page speed as we keep CloudFlare server.

So you want CloudFlare but you don’t want CloudFlare. That’s not possible.

Let’s go back to basics here.

  1. What CloudFlare plan are you on? Free? Paid?
  2. Why are you on CloudFlare in the first place? Why did you choose it? If somebody else chose it, why did they choose it?
  3. How many visitors are you getting daily?
  4. Where are your visitors coming from? Single country? Region? The entire world?

Why are you on CloudFlare in the first place? It allows many features and they are excellent:

DNS management.

If there are many accounts, it can increase many benefits.

When I tested Cache, I understand Cache Rules should be placed inside CloudFlare system if you like to work all cache benefits. But testing NGINX, it has also benefits. So, I try to secure IP and CNAME but control my cache rules.

Ok from what I understand free plan can lower website speed sometimes when CloudFlare is really busy because it prioritizes traffic from paid customers. Just so you know.
