Tried finding options in preferences and other settings to add subtitle with profile name, but failed 
Just curious to know, how i can add a subtitle like “Developer Enthusiast” along with my profile name. For e.g. @RyanReese profile name shows text like {float:left}.
I have that subtitle because it crossed over from v-bulletin. If I ever try to change it, I’ll lose the ability to have custom text as the subtitle.
AFAIK, there is no way to set it for individual users. Maybe admins will be nice and set one for you; who knows

Yes, as Ryan says, most of the custom titles belong to members who joined in the days of vBulletin, and the title was imported to Discourse with their account.
Discourse has no provision for ordinary members to add a custom title to their profile. A few of the “badges” can be used as a title. For example, once you reach Trust Level 3, you’ll see an option to set that as your title.
My title was imported too, but after a while it just vanished. Sadly, without my doing.
I still see it… Or was it something else?
It was completely different. This was the only option to have one.
“Design Your Site Team”?
That one seems a bit ancient.
It’s what vBulletin says, so presumably is what was imported.
I am. But here, it was too late to change it.
