How should i build quality links?

i want to build quality links for my site …
can you tell how to do it?

Welcome to the forums, @harryaanprt.

Links which you place yourself are not considered “quality” by search engines. The links which really matter are those you earn, by having great content that other sites choose to link to. It’s not easy, but here are some suggestions from Matt Cutts:

Here are some ways to get quality backlinks.

  1. Guest Blogging.
  2. Press Release.
  3. Link Exchange.
  4. Document (PPT & PDF) Sharing.
  5. Social Bookmarking.
  6. Business Listing.
  7. Profile Creation.
  8. Image and infographic Sharing.
  9. Blog Commenting.
  10. Forum Posting.

Sorry, but no. There are some ways to waste your time creating links which will have no positive benefit and may instead get your site penalised for participating in link schemes. As I said already,

Reputable sites mark user-submitted links as nofollow (as we do here), rendering them useless for SEO.

Creating links with the intention of manipulating SERPs (which is the purpose of your list) is against the TOS of both Google and Bing and may result in penalties against your site. I strongly urge you to read the relevant guidelines:

First of all try to find the high PA and DA website and Do follow site to create the back link
and use the following methods
Guest Posting
Blog creation
Profile creation
Press Release

PA and DA are metrics created by Moz to indicate how well they think pages or domains will perform in search results. They are not used by search engines.

As already stated in this topic, reputable sites will follow Google’s guidelines and mark user-submitted links nofollow; sites which allow users tpo post followed links are likely to be ignored or regarded with suspicion by search engines.

Once again:

Creating links with the intention of manipulating SERPs is against the TOS of both Google and Bing and may result in penalties against your site.

If you decide to buil links yourself, you need to consider few things.
First, your content should be unique and useful for a user. On page optimization also should be done in a proper way.
Then move to link buiding. Choose ony relevant websites with content similar to your niche and distribute anchor texts according to Natural anchor text distribution formula.
Don’t be in haste with link building, links should look natural to Google.
Alternatively, you may buy backlinks from a link building company that advises link building speed and chooses the most appropriate web pages with high DA, PA and SB rank.

Edited by gandalf458 to remove self-promotion.

You would be very ill-advised to do this, as the buying and selling of links (apart from nofollow links) is explicitly forbidden in both Google’s and Bing’s guidelines. (See links in post #7.)

If you think that you can rank high without buying a single link, then you are just a dreamer. Of course, it depends on the niche, but nowadays almost every niche is crowded. The big companies are paying thousands for links to get #1 position.

Google:

The following are examples of link schemes which can negatively impact a site’s ranking in search results:

  • Buying or selling links that pass PageRank. This includes exchanging money for links, or posts that contain links; exchanging goods or services for links; or sending someone a “free” product in exchange for them writing about it and including a link

Bing:

Abusive tactics that aim to inflate the number and nature of inbound links such as links buying, participating in link schemes (link farms, link spamming and excessive link manipulation) can lead to your site being delisted from the Bing index.

You’d be surprsed how many members we’ve seen over the years who’ve thought they could defy the rules and get away with it, only to return later, desperate for help to recover from a penalty.

The OP is asking how to build quality links, and the answer is “by following the guidelines”.

Of course, folk may make their own choices, but we have a large number of beginners here and it is unethical to give them advice or suggestions which may lead to a penalty on their site(s).

Thanks
This list is helpful, I am looking forward to this list.

Do make sure you read the following post (#4) which explains why that list may not be as helpful as you think. @trajinfofree.

When you just want to show agreement or appreciation for a post, it’s better to use the “like” button (heart).

I do not have much experience in SEO. But I want to ask why backlink building techniques such as forum signatures, blog comments, even spam … still work? I used to check the backlinks of some sites in TOP 10 search results (low competition keywords), and most of them are spam. Google algorithm is not perfect yet?

Backlinks are not the only factor, or even the main factor, in a site’s ranking.

As I’ve already said, reputable forum and blog sites will mark user-submitted links as nofollow. Followed links from such sites are likely to be simply ignored by search engines, but any suspicious pattern of link-building may trigger a penalty against your site.
