Obviously establishing credible backlinks to a website is critical, but I’m interest to know if people use any rule of thumb on how many backlinks to establish over a period of time, e.g., 10/day, 100/month, or as many as you can get as quickly as you can get?
I’m about to redesign and marketing strategy for a Philadelphia injury attorney website. In the past, I’ve focused more on the consistency of backlinks per day. So if I can establish approximately five to ten a day, as long as I keep that going Google seems to like me. But if I go for 100 in one day, and nothing else for a week, then Google gives me a gentle slap.
f you can 100 That also no problem but it should be organic way if you do not break Google rule to do build link os it;s not harm, it also factor what type of link you want to build like off page or on page?
Well for a brand new site here is the exact method I use
first week 10 backlinks
second week 15 backlinks
third week 25 backlinks
fouth week 35 backlinks
second month 150 backlinks
third month 300 backlinks
I usually start out with social booker sites for the first week to make the SERPS happy. Then I go into article marketing, and blog commenting. Once that is complete go for more social bookmarking, social networking, blog commenting, article marketing, and 3 way link building.
Here are some good places to get links from for socail bookmarking:
Digg, Stumbleupon, redit, and misterwong
For Articles I use Ezinearticles, Articlebase, Goartices.
For blog commenting go to Google and type in your keyword and commentluv
Leave a comment with YourName @ Keyword
Don’t spam and ad value to the conversation.
This is a big misconception. The problem is the speed of the backlinks being indexed not how many you are doing. Most natural backlinking takes a while to get indexed. So you could have 1000 links done in a day and have it take 3 months to have them all show up. And a lot of times they won’t all show up.
The problem people will run into with new sites is the google dance and they attribute it to backlinks. Just keep consistently plugging away with backlinks. If you are doing it manually there is no way you will be able to do enough for it to get you de-indexed and even then that is so remote of a possibility.
Just know that new sites can be on page 1 one day and page 15 the next for no apparent reason. If you are consistent with backlinks you will pop right back up in a couple of weeks.
Yeah, I do a lot of SEO work and people freak out when there site jumps around on Google. It is just Googles way of trying to determine where to rank you. Not a big deal. Wait and month and see where you really stand. Don’t obsess about it which I know is hard to do.
there is no set limit specified for this. i think it more like goes with how fast your site usually gets links. for example if your site gets 10 linked over a month time, and all in a sudden you get 1000 per month; thats too fast.
