How do you create a seamless background from an image

Hi all,

I’ve got a picture of some tangerines which i would like to use as a seamless tiling background for my web page, trouble is I dont have a clue how to do it!

Could someone please tell me how do to do this? I am a Firworks user but can adapt instructions in Photoshop if needs be.

This can be easily achieved with offset filter!

I can see the tutorial that you’re talking about, and I tried it with that tangerine picture, but it still doesn’t seem to work. When you repeat an image enough times (like you would need to do with that small of a picture), you’re inevitably going to see a pattern. Try a design that has predictable repetition. Maybe a picture of a single tangerine?
