How do I change the default subscribe message?

I’m using mailchimp to for the mailing list and I don’t know how to change the default message. It’s not even a option in mailchimp. I know it has to do with the Mce-success-response. The mce-danger-response is not working either. How do I make the error-message work?

@xaznbabyx, did you contact support at MailChimp to see if they could help you with their product?

Unfortunately, I’m not able to contact support at Mailchimp unless it’s paid and its not up to my decision to upgrade it either.
