Why does my main content getting hidden behind my left menu, I have a margin to protect that space.

I’m not on a computer at the moment but a cursory glance of the style sheet shows a margin left of 300px on your content being immediately overridden my a margin 0 auto.
( I can’t remember the rule name and your link is now giving me a bad gateway message which may be my slow connection while on holiday. )
The style sheet needs some work as it is full of bad practices but I will leave that to someone else to point out
