I am a wihte collar work for a mandarin school in shanghai,I am planning to make a 7 days trip pairs in August.

I have never been in China but many times in Indonesia, Malaysia Singapore and also in Thailand Cambodja and Vietnam.
Advice first day relax and dont drink much alcohol or spicy food. Try to go off the track and meet people and just a few words in local languages and people will appreciate. Never show anger and be politite.

Most of my time in China was when i was looking to import clothing into the UK. So my visits were more business based.
However sightseeing trips were great in Hong Kong and Macau. Well worth a visit if you can manage it.
Also a bit more westernised and more familiar.

I haven’t been to China. But I say it’s one of the places I would like to visit due to my strong liking of Chinese martial arts flicks. I’ve heard Shanghai is beautiful. If I have the chance, I’ll go there.
