Help Me Fix Website down!

Hi,

Everything was working fine last night but this morning I woke up and my website is down. No pages are accessible. I have hosting at Vultr.com.

In the browser it gives this:

This site can’t be reached
www.example.com took too long to respond.

Not sure what the problem is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are calling your website “example.com” but it is clearly shown in the trace so obscuring the domain name does not hide the real domain name.

Your hosting is with Vultr.com; is “ns1.enlightenedhosting.com” valid nameservers for that host? If notthen the problem is your DNS. Otherwise, I dounbt anyone can do anything except guess. Have you looked at your hosting account to see if there is a problem? You probably are learning about these things and don’t know what to look at but there are many things to look at, such as DNS. If you can get support from your hosting company then they are experienced ait what to look at.

Contact your hosting service, Vultr.com.

Note that enlightenedhosting.com does not exist. Should that be enlightenhosting.com?

I don’t know what it is.

I can access html file types (couldn’t earlier) Can’t access php file types it seems. Trying to access phpinfo just spends and spends thou.

I have this anomaly in Munn:

Don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

Back online!

Not sure what is was but I restarted php-fpm, memcached, and redis and its back up.

Not sure how or if they got turned off.

Yes, it is working. Sometimes we just have to fiddle with things. Now you know that that is something you need to check when things don’t work.

Yeah, but I wonder how it stopped working. Worry about that later. On to fixing other things. :slight_smile:
