This is an article discussion thread for discussing the SitePoint article, “Harness the Power of CVS for Your Site”
Great article. One correction to the details on how to connect to phpBB CVS repository as stated at the beginning of the article. It has changed. Here are the new commands as posted on the SF/phpBB site now:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/phpbb login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/phpbb co -P modulename
Nice article, very helpfull.
I can mention as addition that I found a CVS Client for Dreamweaver, calling CVS for Dreamweaver (www.grafxsoftware.com), helped me out to manage CVS projects inside of Dreamweaver. Hope this help …
Nice article, but a lot of the links are invalid.
