Handling Image in Box

I have a right column box that has a reversed header and then below it a Google Map and various text to help the user find directions to my clients shop.

Now I would like to add a photo of the outside of his shop inside this box.

The column/box is 200px wide with a 1px gray round border.

How should I position the photo for the best look?

Should I butt it up against the gray borders this making it 198px wide?

Or should I make it smaller (e.g. 180px) so there is a gutter around it on all sides?

With the first approach, the photo would be nicely framed on the left and right sides, but the top and bottom would have white space which I don’t know if that looks silly or not?

(a) Opinions on layouts are pretty subjective, so at the end of the day, what really matters is which one your client prefers.

(b) If you want folk to comment on which layout they prefer, then you need to show us the layouts. Screenshots of both options, please - in the context of the wider page. (Because what looks better in isolation may not look better when combined with other page elements.
