Google map problem in IE, shows js error

Dear all,

I’m integrating google map to my site running under phpmydirectory.

The google map display nicely in FF, however, there are alignment problems to all the controls (up, left, right, down buttons) and the map is not shown in the page.

Below is the error I found from that page:

forgot to mention that this problem is happened in IE 7 & lower versions…

It is fine under IE8…

The second error can happen if you are using a variable that is same as an id attribute in html.

Oh?! Thanks for your reply semantic7. I’ll check the whether there is any conflict.

But wondering why this only happened to IE 7 and below…

I have the same error with IE8.
