Getting emails from 123Reg mailbox after transferring domain

Hi all,
I transferred a client’s website and domain away from 123Reg. They said they werent using the mailbox they had setup with 123Reg, although now it appears they were! The domain has been fully transferred over. Is there a way they can still access their old emails with 123Reg?

If the mailbox was set up for that domain name, then presumably once the domain was transferred, the box ceased to exist.

You could see if they can still log in to their old 123-reg account and have a look to see if there is any e-mail, but my guess would be that anything sent to the old address has bounced.

Hmm, Im not sure. I think the reference to the mailbox has gone - but the mailbox is still there (and accessible via an ip). I have submitted a ticket - but still waiting for 123reg to reply.
