Hi I have a img that I’m floating and some text that I am not. Yet the text goes alongside it. Surely the text should stay underneath the float and should only go alongside the img if I give it float:left;
You’ve already asked this question in another thread. Please give people time to look into your situation and reply.
Hi I’m learning how to use floats. At the moment I’m looking into the clearfix method. I just wondered if I was using it correctly. I’m using it on the parent container.

And also if I have a container surrounding my text called .data . I have an overflow: auto for this container. If I take that overflow:auto then the width goes to a full width which isn’t great for the padding.Why is this and also I thought this what the clearix was meant to stop?
